Coronavirus - Covid 19

We are fully open & trading as normal as possible, we will update our website as often as we can. We are following government guidelines although these seem to change frequently.

All deliveries of Soft Play. Giant Games, will be doorstep drop off & collection only, we will not enter your property to set the equipment up.

Self isolation: if you have a booking with us & are required to self isolate or you are pinged to self isolate, we will not be able to hire to you, your deposit/booking fee, will not be refundable, if your booking is for a hall & it’s less than 28 days notice you will be required to pay the outstanding balance because it’s too short notice for us to fill that delivery slot, we will also require proof that you either have Covid or you have been told that you need to isolate, we are unfortunately running a business with this being our only form of income & we need to protect ourselves to cover our overheads, as a good will gesture we will be happy to transfer your booking fee/deposit to an alternative date within a 3 month period subject to our availability. You also have the option to add a £20 Covid Insurance fee to cover you in case of Covid or isolation, if you need to cancel at short notice, your deposit won’t be refunded, but your outstanding balance will be reduced to £20 to cover the cost of your outstanding balance.

We are currently NOT HIRING BOUNCY CASTLES OUTSIDE AS WEATHER IS TOO WET & COLD, HOWEVER WE ARE STILL TAKING BOOKINGS FOR CASTLES OUTSIDE FOR AFTER MARCH, IF YOUR LOOKING TO BOOK FOR LATER IN THE YEAR.

All our equipment is available to hire, we are Environmental Health approved ✅ we have invested a lot of time & money to ensure we can be as safe as possible. We have invested in a fogging machine & the safest child friendly cleaner, to ensure all the equipment is fully disinfected right down to every seam & stitch.

All bookings will need to be placed online by the customer, as we will no longer leave a copy of our terms & conditions, these will need to be read online & signed for, so its very important that you do read them. You will be required to pay a £25 booking fee/deposit to secure your booking, this will come off your final balance. In the event that your booking is cancelled your deposit/booking fee WILL NOT be refunded, this is to cover our costs of admin & cleaning of the equipment which is all done prior to your booking, it takes us approximately 3 hours to fully sanitise the equipment. However under the current circumstances we will very generously allow you to transfer your booking fee/deposit to an alternative date within a 3 month period subject to availability & current bookings.

Delivery will be contactless, we currently are not allowed to take cash on delivery, so your booking will need to be paid by 12pm the Thursday before your party by a BACS/BANK TRANSFER, we will send you this information in an email a few days before your party along with confirmation of your delivery & collection time. This will override any terms & conditions regarding cash payments on delivery for the foreseeable future. You will be sent a receipt to confirm your payment.

We can only offer bookings of our equipment to enclosed garden areas, & secured premises such as halls & community centres, this is too ensure only your guests use the equipment. We would much prefer to gain access to gardens either by a rear entrance or clear side access, however if this is not an option we will be happy to come through your property providing social distancing is abided by, as trades people are now allowed to enter peoples properties to carry out works.

All our equipment will be fully sanitised to the highest of standards as normal, we take great pride in how clean our equipment is and have received many compliments. We require at least 24 hours notice when booking so we can ensure that the hired equipment has been fully sanitised. If required for next day delivery please call us to confirm that we are able to fulfil your requirements.

METHOD STATEMENT OF DELIVERY & COLLECTION

Delivery will need to be contactless. We will send a text when we are on route to you.

We will ask you to social distance when we set the equipment up. We will wear a mask.

We will need access to a plug socket, if this is inside your property we will ask you to plug it in for us, & then advise that you to wash your hands.

We will do a risk assessment and point any risks out to you, whilst social distancing.

On collection we will ask you to leave castle/inflatable up, as we will use our fogging machine, to spray it down.

We will send you a text when we are on route to collect, & ask that any remaining guests & yourselves remember to social distance by at least 2 meters.

BASIC RISK ASSESSENT

The mats will come away from the castle, so you will be required to push them back up to the castle as & when

No food or drink allowed on any of the equipment as this creates a choking hazard, it also makes our equipment dirty and you could be invoiced a cleaning charge

No shoes, No Glasses, No Face paint, No Silly String, No Henna, No Jewellery with sharp edges, No Pets or any kind of Pens, all of these can either permanently stain or cause damage.

If it rains, the children are fine to stay on the castle/inflatable if its only a sprinkling, however the castle bed & step may become slippery, so you will need to check & towel wipe frequently, if the rain is persistent, everyone needs to come off the equipment, all our electrical equipment is weather proofed, & the castle/inflatable MUST NOT be switched off, you will see lots of bubbling coming through the seams of the castle, this is perfectly normal, once the rain has passed you will need to dry the equipment by wiping over with a towel several times, it should be fine to use after about 10-15 minutes.

If you switch the equipment off in the rain, it will fill with water & will not be usable once the rain has passed, the equipment becomes very heavy then for us to move on collection, it can also take over a week for us to get all the water out, and you would receive a drying out invoice for £50.

We will point out any tripping hazards from any of the cables we use.

No one to the rear of the castle/inflatable because of the electrics.

No water guns, hosepipes, or sprinklers to be used on the equipment, as it makes the equipment dirty, can create the equipment to become slippery and it can become dangerous to use.

METHOD STATEMENT OF SANITISATION

Before delivery:

All products are hoovered down, then washed with water & washing up liquid, they are then sprayed & wiped down with Dettol, once dried, we then use a fogging machine to spray with Anti viral Disinfectant, that protects against coronavirus's, is child & food hygiene friendly, conforms with European Standards BS EN14476 & is an approved Antibacterial Disinfectant. Non Bleach Formula.

After Delivery:

We will fog down any castle or inflatable on collection, the equipment will then be packed away and left for 3 days for the disinfectant to work its way through to all the seams & stitching, we will then follow the process of the cleaning before delivery.

Soft Play will be cleaned in the same way, apart from the balls, which are washed through a washing machine with Milton sterilising fluid, & left to dry naturally.

SOFT PLAY HIRE

We have tried to be as flexible as possible with our soft play, as we would not normally hire this type of equipment outside. However no little ones should miss out on fun, so we have done some adjustments, but there are rules that need to be followed to enjoy safe play & no injuries to occur, or any of our equipment getting damaged or ruined.

We are happy to hire our soft play outside, providing there is no rain forecast, as this ruins our sponges inside the shapes & ball pit, so if you hire for it to go outside, just be aware, you will be required to take it inside if it rains, or set up will be inside if it is raining, so please make sure you have some space available, you will NOT be able to take it outside once the rain has passed as the ground maybe still be wet. If you have carpets in the area inside that you want the soft play to be put, we probably will not use mats, as they can become a tripping hazard, however if your flooring is a hard surface, we will use padded mats. We would always recommend you have a gazebo if hiring soft play outside, to shade the soft play from direct sun, as the material can get very hot for little hands, including the mats that the soft play is on. All other T&C's will remain the same.
Soft play delivery & collection whilst we are happy to enter your property we understand that for some people this might not be possible especially if they’re is a clinically vulnerable person in the household so we can do doorstep delivery, the ball pit will be made up, we will have also be wearing PPE. We will adhere to government guidelines as these may change & we may not be allowed to enter your property, so door step delivery may be mandatory.

HALL HIRE:

We know that some halls & community centres have reopened, so if you need some recommendations please do contact us and we can advise.
