The Important Stuff

We don't run this company as a hobby or for a bit of extra money, this is what we do for a living as our full time job & its what pays our bills. We appreciate that some bouncy castle companies don't always have the best reputation, that is why we want to be as transparent as possible. We are a trustworthy & honest company, we love what we do & our 5* stars reviews prove this, along with many returning customers & word by mouth recommendations.

As our customer we appreciate you booking with us, so the most important part of your celebration to us is that it runs smoothly & that you & your guests have an amazing time, making some wonderful memories, there are a few things that will help this happen.

Its important that you read our terms & conditions, yes we know they are boring, but they are there to protect you as much as us. They are a legally & binding contract that you agree too once you place your booking with us.

We do not set up equipment on communal land, you would need written permission from the land owner to do, in most cases the local council, which will not give you permission.

If you do not see your postcode available for delivery it’s probably because we do not cover that area, we allow up to a maximum travel time of 30 mins, otherwise it impacts how many local deliveries we can do.

We only offer party equipment for children's use, we do not cater for adult parties.

IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE EQUIPMENT FITS IN THE REQUIRED SPACE, WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH MOST VENUES SO ASK IF IN DOUBT, THIS INCLUDES CEILING HEIGHTS FOR INFLATABLES WHICH MAY INCLUDE OBSTRUCTIONS SUCH AS BEAMS & LOW LIGHTS, WE DON’T REFUND IF THE EQUIPMENT DOES NOT FIT.

We do not allow the use of FACEPAINT, HENNA, SILLY STRING, PARTY POPPERS, CONFETTI BALLOONS, ARTS & CRAFTS SUCH AS FELT TIPS on our equipment, it stains, we take great pride in our equipment being delivered in a pristine condition. So if you want a face painter, please do not book with us.

We do not hire outside from around the middle of October to end of March/beg of April, please read out terms & conditions in full regarding the weather & outdoor bookings.

Its important if your booking a timed delivery that you check we can accommodate your delivery & collection times, as my website unfortunately isn’t bright enough not to book the same slots & unfortunately we can’t be in 2 places at once.

All of our packages are made up of single equipment, so we would advise that you check with us first to make sure the items aren’t already booked out.

On the rare occasion it may be necessary for us to change your equipment, for example if something gets damaged, we will always offer an alternative as close to as possible to what you’ve hired or something of greater value, we appreciate this may be disappointing but it will be out of our control, if you wish to cancel, you will still be required to pay the outstanding balance unless 28 days notice is given. We unfortunately cannot help things that are out of our control & it’s likely we will hold off as close to your party date before we have to implement any changes.

If the weather is wet & you still insist on having an inflatable delivered, this will only be done if it is safe to do so & the ground isn’t too boggy or soggy, & it’s not pouring with rain, no refund will be offered if the inflatable isn’t used because the weather is bad, inevitably this will make the inflatable dirty which will incur a cleaning charge of £50 for each inflatable that is hired. If the inflatable’s are switched off in the rain, they fill with water, it takes us days to dry them out, & you will be charged a drying out fee of £75 per inflatable, all inflatables must be left switched on.

We only put our equipment on natural grass, as they need to be safely pegged into the ground, this area needs to be flat, including all additional space required, we do not put any inflatables on any kind of concrete/tarmac, shingles, soil, mud, sand, fake grass or decking.

We hire to venues all year round, & is our preferred choice, & they take preference over outdoor bookings, we do not hire outside from the 1st October to the 1st April, if you book for an outside event/party please be aware that you do not book guaranteed weather for this to go ahead, this is the risk you take when placing a booking for outside, including over the limit wind gusts, which can happen even on a glorious sunny day, with our good old British weather.

Deposit/booking fees

We require you to pay a deposit/booking fee to secure your booking, this is to secure the date you have booked & the equipment that you have booked, this means that no one else can book that equipment. We don’t refund deposits/booking fees, as a lot of work goes on behind the scenes in order for your booking to go ahead, such as admin tasks, also we hire a hall for all the equipment to be cleaned, at a cost to us, please see our cancellation policy & the time frame required & costs that can be incurred to you below.

Cancellations

We require 28 days notice to cancel your booking, this is so we are given the opportunity to rehire the equipment to another customer otherwise you will still need to pay for your booking. If more than 28 days notice given we are happy to transfer your deposit/booking fee to an alternative date within a 3 month period, subject to our availability & only on one occasion. If more than 3 months notice given we will partially refund your deposit to the sum of £15 & will retain £10 this is to cover our admin costs.

Weather Related Cancellations

We will only cancel your booking on the day, we do not refund any deposit or booking fee paid, this can be transferred to an alternative date within a 3 month period subject to our availability. This is because no one can control the weather and you would have had the opportunity to book for a venue prior to booking with us, so you take the risk with the weather when booking. If you contact us prior to this to say you want to cancel as weather looking bad you will still be required to pay for the hired equipment on your booking. We will start to contact you in the run up to your booking if there is a chance that your booking may not be able to go ahead because of predicted weather conditions, including wind gusts. We will always try to offer an alternative such as soft play or giant games if your booking has to be cancelled to due the weather. If you wish for your booking to be guaranteed to go ahead, we would always recommend booking a venue.

Wind Gust Cancellations

Wind gusts for us are extremely frustrating & we have more wind cancellations than rain cancellations, even on a sunny day we can't control the wind, we always advise that you have a back up plan, we are a safe company & will not go against HSE rules, no matter how disappointed you feel as safety is absolutely paramount to us, please be aware we are not letting you down, cancelling is not something we want to do. Legally we are not allowed to set up any inflatables outside if wind speeds reach & exceed 24 MPH, including wind gusts, & 21 MPH in open spaces such as fields, it is against the law, it is not safe and makes our insurance invalid, as it does for every other company. We monitor the weather very closely, we do not take the decision lightly to cancel your booking but will do so if wind gusts ( not wind speeds) are predicted to be over the legal limit. If you choose to book your event outside, you take the risk of a cancellation, because the weather cannot be guaranteed & you have an opportunity to book a hall beforehand, therefore we do not refund your £25 Deposit/Booking fee, we are happy to offer an alternative date within a 3 month period subject to availability, & can only be deferred once. If you wish to guarantee that your booking goes ahead we would always recommend booking a venue, sadly we cannot control the weather.

Sickness Cancellations

We do understand that sometimes with the best will in the world & all the organising of a celebration that sickness can occur, we now offer a chargeable cancellation policy if this was to happen, its not something you have to add to your booking, but it is highly recommended, as it will cover you for costs of the hired equipment, if you was to get sick & had to cancel last minute you will still be required to pay the outstanding balance of your booking, as we would have no chance of being able to hire out the booked equipment or filling that delivery slot, however we would be happy to transfer your booking to an alternative date within a 6 month period subject to our availability but this will need to be paid for on point of cancellation as this is our only form of income, if you have the cancellation policy you will be required to only pay that fee, and any outstanding balance will be cleared by that one off payment, this is why we highly recommend taking it.

If you wish to cancel your booking we will require 28 days notice or you will still need to pay for the package, we don’t make any exceptions on this, as this is our living & only form of income, we still have overheads to pay & it’s unlikely we will be able to fill your cancelled slot, if your cancellation is short notice due to illness, accident or a bereavement unfortunately you will still need to pay for your package when the payment is due, however we will generously transfer your paid party package to an alternative date within a 6 month period subject to our availability.

Changing booking equipment

Its important that you give us as much notice as possible, we are happy to change the equipment but will need 28 days notice to reduce your balance, or you will still need to spend the same amount of money.

Booking Equipment

When you book, it is your responsibility to make sure the equipment will fit, for example if you book a castle for a venue, you will need to make sure the space in the venue is big enough to accommodate that castle, including the ceiling height, all measurements & required space is on each castle, this also applies to gardens & access space, if we arrive & the space is not big enough NO REFUND will be given, this is your responsibility, we are familiar with most local halls, so contact us if in doubt. If you book for an area such as a communal green space, park etc, we will not be able to set up the equipment & you will not get a refund.

Damage

If the equipment gets damaged whilst on hire, you will be required to pay for it, this includes any form of staining.

Payments

Your booking needs to be paid for in advance by 11am the Thursday prior to your party/celebration, this is too be done via BACS, (Bank Transfer) we will send you this information about a week prior to your party/celebration in an email, its important that you also check your SPAM box, as we know that our emails can sometimes go in there.

Please note we do not take cash on delivery, we also do not take final balance payments through Pay pal as the fee's to us are too expensive.

Soft Play

We do not hire soft play outside, it is only suitable for indoor hire, either in a venue or at home, It’s not waterproof or sun proof. If for at home, we do not come into your property to set up & the soft play will be delivered & collected on the doorstep.
All balls must be collected & in the supplied netted bag that we will leave with you, ready for our collection, whether this is at a venue or at home.

Risk Assessment

We always carry out a rick assessment on delivery & will give a safety chat pointing out any hazards, a briefing on safe use of the equipment, in all weathers, it’s important that anyone using the inflatable wears socks, especially in hot weather.
You will also be given a chat should it rain, whatever you do, no inflatables should be deflated in the rain, as the inflatable (s) fills with water, they are non useable once this happens, it also takes us days to dry out, & you will be billed £50 drying out fee for each inflatable that is deflated in the rain, all our electrical equipment is weather proof.

Refunds

Any refunds that need to be returned will take up to 7 days to process, that includes bank transfer or PayPal. PayPal may take longer as we are not sure of their refund process. If a refund is being made by BACS we will need you to email your bank details to us in order for us to process that, and it may take up to 7 days from the date you send us that information.

Bank Holidays

We don't charge any additional fees to hire on a standard bank holiday, other than New Year's Day, the additional fee to hire on this day is £50

New Years Eve is an additional charge of £100 with any collection’s between 6-9pm, earlier day time collections do not incur any additional fees

We are closed Christmas Eve to Boxing Day and don't hire out on these days.

Public Liability Insurance

Your Safety is of absolute paramount importance to us. We hold £5 million public liability insurance, & are members of the BIHA, TIPE & Bouncy Castle Network. We insure that all our inflatables are brought brand new by leading UK manufacturers, & that they comply with BS EN14690, they all have an up to date PIPA safety certificate, and our electrical equipment is PAT tested regularly. We strive to maintain the highest of standards & all of our equipment is thoroughly inspected & cleaned after each use. So you can book with confidence..

We do not put castles/inflatables outside on Concrete, Paving Slabs, Decking, Fake Grass or Gravel! We can only pitch our castles/inflatables on natural grass, which must be flat with no obstructions such as over hanging trees, washing line poles, tree stumps etc, & no animal poo!! You will need to leave an additional 2ft around the castle sides & front & an additional 5ft to the rear to allow safe anchorage, the blower tube & safety mats to the front. All castle/inflatable dimensions are on the product description.
We do not use generators to power our blowers & will need access to an electrical plug socket within 25 meters from where you wish to have the inflatable positioned.
